Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the use of the mobile and web game "Space Tap Miner: Idle Frontier" ("Service") provided by devyang ("Company") and define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and its users.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- Service: The game and related supplementary services provided by the Company.
- User: A person who uses the Service under these Terms.
- Paid items: In-game resources or features obtained through purchase (gems, time-based items, cosmetics, etc.).
- Free resources: In-game resources earned through gameplay or watching ads (celestite, leap coins, etc.).
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)
These Terms take effect upon being posted within the Service or upon notice to users. The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable law and will provide notice at least 7 days before amendments take effect. When amendments materially disadvantage users, notice will be given at least 30 days in advance.
Article 4 (Use of Service)
- Users may use the Service without registering an account. Use is anonymous by default, and game progress is stored in the user's local device storage.
- Where account linking is offered, users may optionally link an account to share progress across devices.
- The Service is generally available 24 hours a day, though it may be temporarily suspended during scheduled maintenance with prior notice.
Article 5 (Paid Services)
- Payment for paid items is processed through each app store (Google Play, App Store, etc.), and payment-related policies follow the terms of those stores.
- Paid items are delivered to the user's account immediately upon purchase.
- Unless a specific usage period is stated, paid items remain valid until the termination of the Service.
Article 6 (Withdrawal and Refunds)
Users may withdraw purchase and request refunds in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws (in Korea, the "Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce"):
- Unused paid items: Withdrawal available within 7 days from the date of purchase.
- Used paid items: Withdrawal may be restricted (per applicable law).
- Refund requests follow each store's refund process and are processed under that store's policies.
Article 7 (Game Progress Data and Backup)
- Game progress is stored on the user's device by default. Data may be lost due to clearing browser data, changing devices, using private/incognito mode, or other causes.
- The Company provides a feature for users to back up their data themselves (export and restore backup code). It is the user's responsibility to protect their progress through this feature.
- The Company is not responsible for data loss caused by the user's failure to back up.
Article 8 (User Obligations and Prohibited Acts)
Users shall not engage in any of the following:
- Using the Service or accessing the system through abnormal means.
- Manipulating game data using memory editing, automation programs, or unauthorized clients.
- Submitting fraudulent data to leaderboards or ranking systems.
- Abusing payment cancellation or refunds, or otherwise gaining an unfair advantage.
- Stealing or misusing another person's account or payment information.
- Infringing on the intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties.
The Company may, without prior notice, restrict Service use, reclaim fraudulently obtained resources, or take other measures when a user violates the above.
Article 9 (Service Changes and Termination)
- The Company may change or temporarily suspend the contents of the Service as necessary for improvement or operation, with prior notice.
- If the Service is terminated, the Company will provide at least 30 days' notice and will inform users of refund procedures for unused paid items in accordance with applicable law.
Article 10 (Limitation of Liability)
- The Company is not responsible for Service disruptions caused by force majeure, network operator failures, user device problems, or other causes beyond its control.
- The Company does not guarantee any specific gains or outcomes users may expect from using the Service.
- The Company does not mediate disputes between users, or between users and third parties, and is not liable for resulting damages.
Article 11 (Privacy)
The Service's privacy handling practices are described in the Privacy Policy, which constitutes part of these Terms.
Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute arising in connection with the use of the Service shall be subject to the competent courts under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
Supplementary Provisions
These Terms take effect on 2026-07-22.
